Active Stability Control

What Is Mitsubishi Active Stability Control?

ASC is a standard safety feature on all 2010 and newer Mitsubishi vehicles that you'll find at West Side Mitsubishi. ASC comes in when the road gets curvy, wet, sandy or generally difficult to navigate, and during emergency maneuvers. Through a series of sensors, ASC helps the driver stay in control of the vehicle by constantly monitoring the traction of the tires on the road. If the system detects a loss of traction between the road and a wheel, it alerts the control unit then, with the help of the the vehicle's anti-lock braking system, ASC steps in to counteract the slipping or loss of control by applying the brakes on specific wheels and reduce engine power to help keep the vehicle moving in the intended direction.

If you want to learn more about this feature and its benefits, feel free to contact the team at West Side Mitsubishi.
